It’s easy to segment leads with your quizzes. Once respondents take your quiz, they’ll need to enter their email to see the results. Here’s how to segment respondents to your different lists depending on the outcome they get.

  1. In the Dashboard, click New Quiz or click to edit an existing quiz.
  2. Click Capture Form in the left-hand menu.
  3. Toggle lead capture to ‘On’. Choose if you want respondents to be able to skip this step, and if you also want to collect their name.
  4. Toggle Segment by Outcome to On, and choose your integration type: HTML or API integration.

Before you can connect your autoresponder or HTML form, you’ll need to add them via Integrations. Find out how to do that here and here.

HTML Form

Choose this option if you want to use an HTML form connected to your autoresponder.  With HTML, you can segment your leads to go to different HTML forms, based on your quiz-takers received outcome.

  1. Copy the URL to your clipboard, and set it as the Thank You page in your autoresponder.
  2. Pick the HTML form you want your lead with your quiz from the dropdown menu.
  3. In the Email Form Field dropdown, match the input type with its form field. If you’ve chosen to include a Name field, match this one for the Name input type.

Next, you need to choose an HTML form for each outcome of the quiz.

  1. Click Outcomes in the left hand menu.
  2. Add an outcome, or click to edit an existing one. Scroll to Lead Capture Settings.
  3. Choose a HTML form that you want to be associated with this outcome. Then enter a header, description and footer for the page containing your form. Add the URL of your privacy policy in the Privacy Policy box.

Click Save, and Publish your quiz to see the changes.

API Integration

Choose this option if your autoresponder is connected to Quizitri via Integrations.  With API, you can segment your leads to go to different Lists of your API form, based on your quiz-takers received outcome.

  1. Choose your integration name from the dropdown menu.
  2. In the List and Header and Description fields, enter the information you want to use as default if the Lead Capture Settings are not configured in the next step.

Next, you need to choose a list for each outcome of the quiz.

  1. Click Outcomes in the left hand menu.
  2. Add an outcome, or click to edit an existing one. Scroll to Lead Capture Settings.
  3. Choose a list for this outcome. Then enter a header, description and footer for the page containing your form. Add the URL of your privacy policy in the Privacy Policy box.

Click Save, and Publish your quiz to see the changes.
